FF55, 4/12/13, Explore and Expand

                    Building an axis,
Maybe you will use your breath
to walk down the wide spiral stairs

from our attic to a broad entrance hallway.
It is luminous and warm here,
                     and encircles us with peace.

Then we can go downward again
                    past the belly button window
                    onto the pelvic floor
                    and a hammock for being.

                                   Been reading an interview in the April issue of Sun Magazine;
Regarding balancing more being than doing. Very interesting
article" Out of our heads" Phillip Shepard.

Sounds like a grand staircase for the belle of the ball, although in a flowing gown and high heels, the hammock won't do... :)

I love the Sun magazine and I love the progression past your belly botton window onto the pelvic floor!

This was lovely, izzy. The belly button window and the pelvic floor? Just amazing. I love when someone is inspired, like you were, by something they read and create something intriguing.

a hammock for being...what a comforting place...like a womb to continue your personification of the house....love that belly button window and pelvic door is very cool....

You make the steps of meditation (I'm thinking) very alluring--a freedom to be, grounded 'luminous and warm.' Thanks for mentioning the article--sounds interesting.

That kind of being is almost as hard as trying to describe it.

Izzy...
You have such microscopic vision for all that you see.
And you almost always filter out the negative.
Loved your spiral 55
What a beautiful mind you possess.
Thanks for playing and have a Kick Ass Week-End

Love this - who doesn't adore the view from a belly button window?

One of your best, I think. Makes sense that The Sun served as some inspiration. Here's the sad twist for me: one of my cats puked on that very issue that I stupidly had on the floor beside my bed (why not on the one of the three shelves in my bedstand?.....because they are full of past issues!!). I had to toss it without reading it. Will see if the article you refer to is included in the online addition. Thank you, izzy.
