Red buds are topping trees!
I rode my horse
this afternoon;
now all I know
If you would flow,
float, or glide,
you must unknot -
To be at peace
you must sigh, fly,
swing wide and love.
To love you must
accept, forgive
and smile
as life goes on
like water
no one can hold
I rode my horse
this afternoon;
now all I know
If you would flow,
float, or glide,
you must unknot -
To be at peace
you must sigh, fly,
swing wide and love.
To love you must
accept, forgive
and smile
as life goes on
like water
no one can hold

little Gem this is.
You are such a great observer of Life
Loved your life's lesson 55
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week End
Great philosophy...♥
So true, izzy, that life is so malleable and changeable and fluid. I loved this! (And I wish some kind of buds would sprout here...they're still too scared because it's been so cold!)
Beautiful job on this one! Especially love the ending stanza. Thank you! And I love the idea of riding a horse. Been a while....
def a refreshing view on facing life....breath deep...and riding a horse is def freeing as well...like flying....
ahh...so nice! I felt myself taking a deep breath and relaxing in your words. A lovely and wonderful perspective.
Yep. So true.
Takes a long time to learn the most basic things--or rather, relearn them, as I think all children start out being pretty familiar with this knowledge. The whole thing is lovely, but I especially liked the last stanza.
This is so true! Lovely write.
Yes, this makes an acceptable philosophy of life and works well - very well - as a poem.
This poem makes me think of spring. Nice. :-)
