The tent frame went up on the sidewalk
It took 1/2 an hour to locate the top!
We carried table, chairs, coolers and soda
to Main Street.
Fortunately we had shade from a maple
and a breeze to ease 93+ and humidity !
We watched a colorful parade
and sold stuffed baked potato's for Church.

THAT'S the way Independence Day SHOULD be observed...the AMERICAN way
Thanks for showing us--and for your own love of church and country and all they BOTH stand for.
PEACE and LIGHT, Izzy!
NOTE: Yesss, there IS something about being FRIST...almost like #1.
HAHAHAHA!
Now that is a street food I would love...but I've never seen them sold here.
Loved this, izzy. I could hear the bands and the crowds. :)
smiles...sounds like a fun day to me....whew and a bit hot so i will toss in some water balloons as well to beat the heat...smiles.
A great way to enjoy the holiday, Izzy, and the summer--I just wish my rural neighbors would confine their fireworks exuberance to the actual Independence Day, instead of every night in July. ;_)Stuffed baked potatoes...mmmmmmmm.
That sounds like the kernel of a novel Izzy.
Stuffed baked potatoes sounds real good to me right now.
I make those as well, only I call them Potato Bombs!!
Loved your Holiday 55
Thanks for playing, thanks for your fantastic support, and have a Kick Ass Week-End
