FF55, 3/28/14, To Go

To go boom, bloom

to go less gruff more grassy
smile more I promise

to make the insides less grumbly
more squeaky

to laugh quicker
or huff at a joke

a promise to flex more
when hugged

to hold a hand out, palm up
piece of fruit offered

 ripe and ready
as friendship can be

" To " and go- was the prompt. However
it runs with promises in a letter to an old friend...And a grateful
adieu to a grand Host of FF55 !

This is great! Yes - to laugh quicker is indeed a worthy goal. And yes, to accept that piece of fruit and to make a new friend! A great farewell 55 at Galen's place.

I like your style of writing, which leaves room for thought and imagination.

Just when you get back to writing I bail!
But never fear, I'll still be hanging around. You have always intrigued me with your stylistic amd insightful ways.
What a great writer and supporter you have been over the years.
I wish you well in your Bucolic Endeavors.. Have a Kick Ass Week End!

To "do" these things and not just "talk" about it… :)

A simple, peaceful image you create in this 55. Would that all friendship would be as this...

Love your list of goals. A nice send off for the G-Man.

World leaders shoul heed your lead. If only "Be Kind" is exercised, clothed in humor, and a gift in the hand out-stretched.

Best gift: understanding and LOVE!

TYhank you for these words!

Everything G-Man said about you in his comments is spot on. This is just a wonderful piece of writing, and a rich tribute poem.
