FF55, 7/27/12 Part 2, Suspended Alongside.

For the two men, then I
these links may as well be chains.
Yet his smile was so wide
and his hair so curly;
The fine memories
spring up among his photographs
mostly black and white
Clouds surrounded in echos
of his laughter;
and my Shepard running full tilt
captured airborne behind the pond.

    One of my favorite bloggers- and there are a few! - made a suggestion that I
give myself an opportunity to continue with last weeks story. I just finished reading
a piece in The Sun, Magazine - about the disappearance of a person
who is dear and close to us...

Izzy...
Your story was quite poignant.
I know people who are missing, and it leaves such a void.
Loved your 55
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End

The hollowness of this echos the emptiness in your loss. I hope your friend gets found.

I like this. Glad you continued the story. I think you should keep it going. Maybe you've developed something new here, a poetry story in stages. Nice write.

I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop. There are simply too many possibilities, even putting the two together.

I'm so glad I went back and read the first installment before commenting here. Now I am more intrigued, if only because of the history implied between you and the missing person. The photo of the dog in midair was snapped in my own mind as I read it. More? (Oliver Twist) Love, Amer

This is tugging at my heart and playing with my mind. I'm glad you continued with it and hope for more.

(I subscribe to The Sun and wonder which issue the piece was in. I received an issue last week that I have not looked at yet, but I *think* I caught up with the stack of past issues...)

I cannot imagine what you are feeling with a missing friend, all I can do is hope that he is found safe and well.

God bless.
