Microfiction Monday ,2/7/11

In Monday's Art class they had darkened the windows
to see how many full body shadow tracings
they could fit on the mural paper by 2:45.

Once an art teacher, always an art teacher...

Ahhh, I remember art class.
The nude models probably scared me for a long time. :)

What a clever teacher she was! Great idea! I had 2nd-graders lie down on butcher paper and I outlined them. Then they colored self-outlines in and I put them on the walls. It looked like children dancing all around the room. Fun post.

Sounds like something new Miss Brodie would do with her girls just to tick off Miss MacKay. I am sure Teddy would approve though.

I like. It evokes strong memories of art classes past.

So fun to see so many different interpretations on this one. I enjoyed seeing what you saw inside the building! :>

Not a lot of time for full bodied drawings, at least for me-LOL! (I would still be on the arm...)

Izzy, laughed at your art class version! I had a completely different 'take' on that--but did not post it (because it is THURSDAY--NOT last Monday, dammmmit!)

Reason for this comment though, is I noticed in your profile that you believe the truth of incarnation. You know...that is so far the only Buddha teaching which troubles me...a lot!

You commented--to me--take what you want, and leave the rest. But I would SO like to 'want' it all--it appears to me SO GOOD!
Thanks again
Peace!
