Magpie Tale, 5/23/11






She felt quite faint all of a sudden,
all happiness draining away.
She was going to have to excuse herself,
get some fresh air before serving.
A sip of water even-

If I was sitting there I would be inclined to take the waiter's pulse to see if he was still breathing! And I would not eat the chook!

Wow, how observant you are! The server does look as though she's about to faint! Her face ashen pale, her body swaying forward as if she might fall at any moment. Great take using her POV as the protagonist. Excellent!
