Sunday 160

Exhaustion looms
a blackening shadow,
after days of sorting
debris and cutting trees
tangled and mangled
by a quarter mile wide tornado.
Our town is rising.

Sad you have to go through this, but your clearly have a great attitude. Thanks for taking time out from clean up to play a silly S160 game.

Hi. I'm glad you did the 160 post. I am still amazed at tornadoes being in Massachusetts. You guys got hit hard. I've lived in tornado alley all my life and am so sorry this happened to you. I will be thinking good thoughts for you, positive energy in your direction. Take care. And thank you for sharing this.

Hey... completely off subject, but, did you make your profile picture? It really intrigues me. I quite like it, but odd as it sounds, I'm not sure why exactly. Something to the movement of it? The shapes? Or the balance? I just wanted to ask you about it. It just really, really intrigues me. Thanks! :-)

Sorry you had to go through that but pleased that the town is starting to recover. Best of luck for the rest of the clean-up!

Haunting 160 Izzy ~ good to have a town rise again once the debris and clutter are cleared. Blessed to be out of the path of tornadoes, saddened by those whose lives have been forever changed by them. Hugs.

As some towns rise from the ashes of debris and twistedness, so some LIVES rise from the ashes of abuse, Pride and greed.

And...emerging in each instance, a new vibrancy, a renewed spirituality; a life of cleanness and productivity.

And one-at-a-time, we begin to know each other.
PEACE!

It's so sad to see this form of devastation - and so wonderful to see people banding together to rebuild. I hope you find peace in togetherness.
