Mag 95, 12/12/11

Mother earth has stopped him-
He has run and fought
trampled and ignored
her rhythms and laws.
Now his mind and body may strain,
race and fight to free itself.
I could dig him out
now that he is awake;
and perhaps I will soon
when he realizes which way
the tide is flowing.

To ebb or not to ebb? That is indeed the question. Nice Magpie.

Tug of war against nature and human will, who will win? Nice one.

Yes, indeed. "trampled and ignored" Mother. Excellent take.

That's lovely writing izzy, and a drop-dead final two lines.

That incoming tide will bring him to his senses.

Beautifully done. You saw something here that really needed to be represented:

"He has run and fought
trampled and ignored
her rhythms and laws. "

I'm very impressed.
