FF55 1/27/12 Question

Can words form a home ?
Circle them, recite them,
pray them, write them-
You can snap a whip and assign them
teachers do!

You can gather and assemble them
to entertain, or thrill.
Poignancy in poems,
essays, opinions-
does all this get us through?

Letters,  history
newsworthy- mystery;
short somewhat longer-
I love search and peruse...

Yes, and it's hard to foreclose on them, too. As Dorothy said, There's no place like home.

They can be little runaways, too, can't they? But you've captured them perfectly, izzy!

Izzy...
Without words we would just be Plankton...Existing without a purpose...Nothingness...Void
The Black Hole!
Thank God we DO have words.
And brilliant purveyors of them such as YOU.
Loved your use of 55 of them
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End

Honestly, if I were a teacher I would have a discussion about this poem in class. There is so much here. I do think that words get us through...
