Magpie, 4/4/11

You can pull the drops
together,
though they will not
run forever
you can draw them in
upon each other;
so they are stronger
going forward
where they can do their best
together- quench a thirst ?

I love the idea of raindrops quenching thirst, I used my magpie for a similar purpose.

"Stronger together" is such a creative take on the raindrops. It's really amazing to read the differences in each participant's response to the prompt.

I love it when I see short poetry like this that says so much without one extra word. Very good stuff.

Love the quenching moments of a slow stroll through the rain. Nicely shared.

Like this! Love watching rain making connections on the window pane, drops becoming streams and streams becoming rivers.

Lots of drops make a glass if you're patient.
(As kids we used to stick our tongues out in the rain . . )
Thankfor this poem.
